We are an industry approved outlet for certified loose gems and custom-design jewellery. These are the terms and conditions that apply for our online shopping in the United Kingdom and Worldwide.
1 PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
1.1 All orders placed on this website through ASR Gems will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
1.2 The ‘ Proceed to Checkout’ moves you to the final details of your order. Following this, we will send to you an ‘Acknowledgement of Purchase’ email detailing the products you have purchased.
1.3 If an item is ‘Out of Stock’ please get in touch with us, and we will make all the efforts to get them to you. Regrettably, some products can sell faster than the website can be updated. If this happens, we will get in touch with you to help choose an alternative item.
2 PRICING & PAYMENT
2.0 All transactions are charged in Great British Pound (GBP)
2.1 If the order has been dispatched, you agree to either return the product or pay the difference between the actual

2.7 ASR Gems reserve rights to cancel your order at any point. Post the order in the event of cancellation. You will receive a refund of your payment within 30 days.
2.8 You agree that in any event ASR Gems shall have no liability to you for any loss, damage, costs, expenses or other claims that you may incur.
2.9 You agree to indemnify ASR Gems in full against all costs and outgoings incurred by us in obtaining payments from you in the event that a failed payment occurs.
2.10 Bespoke jewellery has an exception of Bank Transfer – BACS Payment if necessary.
2.11 Bespoke jewellery: with the confirmed designs, we receive an acknowledgement from you in agreement of our
Terms & Conditions.
2.12: Bespoke Jewellery are processed with a deposit of 50% of the total agreed value of the designed product and the remainder will be processed at the time of delivery of the product.
3 PRODUCT ACCURACY
3.1 We make all reasonable efforts to maintain an up-to-date accurate website and online website catalogue.
However, you absolve us of any liability due to unforeseen inaccuracies or the consequences thereof contained within.
3.2 We reserve the right and will endeavour to correct any errors when they do occur, or when we have been notified.
3.3 If a product’s listed price is lower than the real-time price, we have the right to either contact you for your approval to proceed at the higher price or will invite you to cancel the order.
3.4 Prices shown on the website do not constitute a contractual price and are subject to final confirmation by ASR Gems.

4 WARRANTY & REPAIRS
4.1 The foregoing Manufacturer Warranty and Complimentary Services are available for 2 years only to the person who purchased the covered product from ASRGEMS.
4.2 Maintenance, repair, sizing or other service performed by someone other than ASR GEMS will void your Manufacturer Warranty.
4.3 Fine jewellery is liaable to normal wear and tear or damage.This is particularly true for rings since hands are regularly subjected to considerable hard ware as we go about our daily lives. We don’t provide warranties for damage due to normal wear, product loss, loss of stones or theft. Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered.
4.4 Some examples of common jewellery issues that are not covered by our warranty:
● Dents, knicks and scratches are inevitable and are not considered a defect
● Discolouration due to exposure to chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing
● Rings that have been damaged or misshapen as a result of “hands-on” activities, such as weight-lifting, rock climbing, gardening, DIY etc. This includes cases where damage results in loss of stones.
● Prongs and precious metals, in general, wear over time and may require “building up” or restoration work as normal wear.
● Bent, caught or worn out prongs(s) allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to normal wear or other damage.
● Lost stone or a stone has fallen out due to chipping or breaking caused by normal wear or other damage.
4.5 Rings that have special finishes, such as matte, sandblast or satin (among others) are particularly prone to natural wear, which will affect the appearance of the finish over time. We recommend you follow the care instructions provided with your order.
4.6 While it’s possible to have a ring returned to us so that its original finish can be restored, for any special finish (other than “polished”), our warranty doesn’t cover the cost of re-doing the finish. We can quote you on the cost of re-doing the finish.
4.7 If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, we invite you to return it to us for inspection by our production team. If we determine your purchase is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll repair the product or, if we think it’s appropriate, replace it. If the item is no longer available, we may, at our discretion, replace it with like-kind or allow a refund equal to the selling price of the original item.
4.8 If we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, then we’ll notify you immediately and let you know if repair services are available at cost or otherwise.
4.9 Please note that slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship are unique and individual to each item. Natural characteristics or internal inclusions in coloured gemstones (visible or non-visible) are also unique and individual to each item. These characteristics are considered as part of the character of the
item,and shouldn’t be considered a defect.
4.10 We recommend having your diamond ring cleaned and inspected annually or if it undergoes any potential trauma. Inspections may help prevent the loss of a stone and extend the life of your jewellery.
4.11 We kindly ask that you cover the cost of shipping back to us, and we’ll pay for return shipping. Repairs to your ring mounting can also be done at this time at cost.
5 EXCHANGE and REFUNDS
5.1 Returns Policy – Stock items
5.1A Stock jewellery (except custom-made) must be returned to ASR Gems within 30 days of the delivery receipt.
5.1B The customer is responsible for the transportation, shipment and delivery of the item.
5.1C Proof of posting is not accepted as proof of receipt.
5.1D Please make sure the item is returned unused and undamaged in its original packaging.
5.1E When the item is received by ASR Gems, it will be tested for quality and originality before a refund can be authorized.
5.1F No refunds will be available for items not returned within 14 days.
5.2 Returns Policy – Custom-made items.
5.2A No refund will be available for custom-design jewellery because of the unique and individual nature of the product.
5.2B Items can be exchanged for products of the same value from the ready-made ‘Collections’ range on our website, or for a new commissioned item.
5.2C An exchange to be granted, you must notify us of your wish to make an exchange within 30 days of the delivery date.
5.2D We will arrange our courier contractor to collect the item from you. So please make sure the item is returned unused and undamaged in its original packaging.
5.2E Poorly packaged items may damage the product and any damaged items will not be eligible for an exchange.
5.2F When the item is received by ASR Gems, it will be tested for quality and originality before an exchange can be authorized.
5.3 Returns Policy – Engraved items. Due to the permanent nature of engraved items, we cannot offer a refund or an exchange.
5.4 Returns Authorisation Number You must obtain a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) from us before returning your item. This number must be

5.5 NO QUESTIONS ASKED – We provide the option of a full refund within 30 days of delivery. This returns policy is limited to.
a) All items where the diamond is priced below £25,000 excluding VAT.
b) Items that have not been customized from their original state as displayed on the website (see 4.7 below).
There is a possibility of waiving these limitations on a case by case basis. In the unlikely event that the goods turn
out to be faulty, damaged or different from those the customer ordered, ASR Gems will alter/amend the item free of charge or refund the item in full.
5.6 All ordered items will be stored at ASR Gems for 7 days from the date of arrival for customer collection. If the item is not collected within the week, the 30 days no questions asked return policy will commence.
5.7 If an item is to be viewed at our premises to confirm purchase, the customer will have 30 days to change their minds and benefit from our “no questions asked” return policy, as opposed to 45 days which is only applicable for
completed items not viewed on premise and dispatched directly to customers.
5.8 Returns of orders will be confirmed only where you have returned the item in its original condition, unworn and together with its original packaging and certificate where applicable.
Non-return of the certificate will be charged for a replacement certificate and you may be charged an additional replacement cost for packaging and any other collateral material. Please note that clients based outside of the UK who are returning their items will need to bear the costs of shipment and insurance. The cost will vary depending on the country where the item is dispatched from as well as the value of the item.
5.9 In the event of not liking the item, we would be happy to remount the diamond (where one or more were selected) in a design of their choice without charge. It will save for any additional metal, diamonds or labour required and a nominal £150 administration and processing charge.
5.10 All returns are subject to verification and authentication by the ASR Gems. Purchased items with any element of personalization, engraving, bespoke items, designs by or for the client may be considered for return and refund on a case by case basis. For Health and Safety reasons, earrings will not be considered for return. For security reasons we recommend that you do not use the name ASR Gems anywhere on the packaging of your returned item because it includes the term “gems”. To arrange a return, we would require you to contact your ASR Gems who will provide you with further instructions. Note: ASR Gems will not be responsible for loss or damage of return shipments. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage you may suffer as a result of your return or late delivery or cancellation of your order. We advise that you retain all proof of posting documentation. 5.11 All Ring and Jewellery sizes and measurements are approximate but we endeavour to ensure that the sizes and measurements are accurate. If you do not know the ring size, please contact ASR Gems.
5.12 Goods will remain property of ASR Gems until they have been fully paid. In case you receive goods you have not paid for and you are requested by ASR Gems to return the same, you have to do so immediately without delays.
ASR Gems will incur the costs of delivery but may charge you interest in the amount of 3% Payment Sense rate to be calculated from the day you have received the goods.
5.13 ASR Gems merchandise has a lifetime warranty guaranteed against defects in manufacturing and workmanship. This warranty does not apply to items subjected to excessive wear, abuse or physical damage, whether accidental or otherwise. Upon acceptance of delivery, insurance and protection of merchandise becomes the sole responsibility of the customer, and ASR Gems shall not be held liable for any loss, theft or resulting damages that may subsequently occur.
5.14 If the purchased jewellery has been in any way tampered with or altered by the customer, another jeweller or any other third party ASR Gems will not agree on a refund nor an exchange.
4.15 Loose Diamond – Any type of ‘Loose Diamonds’ are not entitled for exchange or refund. Once purchased ASR Gems will not be able to replace unless there’s a fault which had to be proven.
6 CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY
All our Diamonds and Gemstones are provided with a Certificate of Authenticity. ASR Gems is registered with The GOLDSMITH Company Assay Office in London, ensuring our precious metal jewellery is compliant with the UK’s
hallmarking regulations. All stock is subject to an internal confirmation process to ensure it meets the UK’s hallmarking regulations before it is dispatched to our customers.

7 CROSS-BORDER & IMPORT REGULATIONS
When ordering from ASR Gems, the recipient is the importer of goods and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Prior to delivery to the recipient, the shipment may be subject to Custom’s fees, Import Duties, Federal and Local Taxes, and other charges made by the destination country. These charges are the recipient’s responsibility and ASR Gems are not responsible for such demands. Value Added Tax (VAT) All prices quoted in this website show the purchase price to include VAT. For those who qualify for VAT, we shall notify you of the VAT element of the purchase price in your invoice.
